The covers can be hand-washed only. It is not recommended to machine-wash the covers, since the faux leather is susceptible to physical wear.The PLS Pet Deluxe Lounger is the perfect pet bed for larger dog breeds. The images are to scale.The bed comes in color brand box and unassembled. The box contains the covers and the inner pillows seperately. The bed is assembled by inserting the inner pillows inside the cover. Then the cover is zipped closed easily. Instruction sheet included in the box.The inner pillows are vacuum-packed to save space. When you remove the inner pillows from the plastic wrap, allow it some time rise back to normal size. Some beds’ pillows may take longer to rise, as they were in storage for longer periods of time. Padding the pillows and moving around the filling cotton helps the pillows rise faster. It is also a good idea to machine-wash the inner pillows on the gentle cycle to make them expand to the fullest.
