The body of this feeder is made from a heavy mesh that allows birds to cling to the side while they peck out their dinner. It’s easy to hang from a tree, chain, or hook, and the lid removes to let you top off the interior with six cups of seed. Not only does this mesh design deter squirrels, it allows for plenty of drainage to keep the seed dry after a heavy rain. The metal body is finished with a durable powder-coat in your choice of color. You can fill it with whatever seed you prefer, but for best results we recommend black oil sunflower seed as an all-purpose food that’s attractive to a wide variety of birds.
